When we think of purple, we think of grapes or eggplants. Who would have ever thought that it would be as popular as it is today. Not only is it seen on food, it is also seen on clothes and accessories. Believe it or not, it is associated with royalty in many cultures. Those who wore purple were considered extremely wealthy because the dye was rare and very expensive. In rare cases, people associate purple with death. How can a color so pretty be compared to death?
