Samsung D900: Slim Light, and will stick
Samsung launched the "world's slimmest 3 megapixel slider" quad-band mobile phone known as the D900. Weighing only 85 grams, this lightweight phone will not make you feel like you're carrying a brick in the bag. Your slimly-ness also makes it less obstructive when the pocket jean.
But as the saying goes, "do not judge a book by its cover." This phone can be light and thin, but still packs a lot of features. The first impression may be the exception 240x320 TFT screen of 2.12 inches. Samsung has always been known for its quality and the LCD monitors I'm willing to bet that the screens of their mobile phones are just superb.
Right out of the box, the D900 has 60MB of internal memory so you can play. You can also get a micro SD card to expand your memory so you can store more music, photos, and other forms of media. To help you use some memory in the micro SD card, the D900i megapixel 3 takes sharp pictures where you go. This camera has autofocus and an LED flash to help capture the moment in an environment with low light.
With a 800 mAh Lithium-Ion, you can talk for more than 3 hours or 250 hours standby. Bluetooth lets you easily share your music and photos with others. The D900 allows you to minimize music player so you can multitask while listening to music and texting at the same time.
Overall, I give this phone a 8 / 10 because its design is simple yet attractive. The 3-megapixel and the display will highlight the strengths of this phone, but the lack of 3G, HSPDA, and build quality are not very strong weaknesses.
